Banana Split Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick melted butter or margarine
    2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
    2 sticks margarine (room temperature)
    2 whole eggs
    2 c. confectioners sugar
    4 or 5 bananas
    1 (20 oz.) can drained pineapple (crushed)
    2 pkg. whipped cream or 1 container Cool Whip
    maraschino cherries
    chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix 1 stick melted butter or margarine and vanilla wafer crumbs together.
    Press in 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish.
    Mix remaining 2 sticks of margarine, eggs and confectioners sugar together.
    Mix at high speed of mixer for exactly 15 minutes.
    Pour over crust. Slice bananas over top.
    Spread pineapple over that.
