Homemade Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 potatoes, diced
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 bunch green onions, chopped
    1/2 lb. bacon, diced
    6 or 8 whole mushrooms, sliced
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Place potatoes in deep pan.
    Cover with water.
    Add diced bacon, chopped onions and butter.
    Saute mushrooms in small skillet with 1 tablespoon butter.
    Add to soup.
    Let cook over medium heat until potatoes are done.
    Mix cornstarch and milk together, then pour into soup for thickening.
    Salt and pepper.
