Irish Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 medium onion
    salt, pepper and chili powder
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 1/2 lb. chop meat
    1 clove garlic
    1 can pinto beans
    1 to 2 cups mashed potatoes
Preparation
    Brown onion and garlic in olive oil.
    Add chop meat and brown. Drain fat from meat and discard.
    Add pinto beans and juices from can.
    Add salt, pepper and chili powder to taste.
    Simmer 20 to 30 minutes.
    Place in 10 x 10-inch casserole dish.
    Place shredded Cheddar cheese on top of meat.
    Place potatoes on top of cheese. Place in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 and bake for 1/2 hour.
    Serves 4. Great for leftover chop meat and/or potatoes.
