Southern Fried Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 ears white corn
    6 strips fatback
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Shuck corn.
    Wash and remove silk.
    Cut kernels off corn after cutting the kernels in half with a sharp knife.
    Scrape juice out of corncob into the corn.
    Add flour, sugar and salt to taste. Stir, then add water.
    Fry strips of fatback until all grease is out of meat.
    Place fatback aside.
    Then add fatback drippings to corn.
    Cook over slow heat, stir constantly.
    Simmer until corn is tender, about 20 to 25 minutes.
