Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    3 Tbsp. hot salad oil
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    3 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. pepper
    3/4 tsp. rosemary
    3/4 tsp. chili powder
    3 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
    2 1/4 c. water
    1/2 (16 oz.) lasagna noodles
    1 1/2 c. Ricotta or small curd cottage cheese
    1/2 lb. Mozzarella, sliced
Preparation
    Saute onion and garlic in oil until tender.
    Add ground beef and
    seasonings;
    cook until beef is slightly brown.
    Add tomato paste
    and
    water,
    mixing well.
    Simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes. Cook
    noodles.
    Spoon 1/3 of the sauce into 13 1/2 x 8 3/4
    x
    1 3/4-inch
    baking dish.
    Begin to make layers with cheeses, sauce and noodles.
    Repeat, ending with Mozzarella on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Yields 8 to 12 servings.
