Vidalia Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. thinly sliced Vidalia onions
    1/2 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 eggs, well beaten
    cheese (optional)
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 deep dish pie shell, baked
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. salt
    bacon, fried crisp (optional)
Preparation
    Cook onion in butter until lightly browned.
    Spoon into pastry shell.
    Blend other ingredients except cheese and bacon.
    Pour over onions.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Top with cheese before baking, or bacon after baking.
    Excellent without toppings.
