Ginger-Cream Cheese Ball - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) box pitted dates
    6 to 8 candied ginger bits (small pieces)
    1/2 c. pecans or walnuts
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
    flaked coconut
    gingersnaps
Preparation
    Chop dates, nuts and ginger in food processor or by hand. Blend into cheese.
    Chill 2 hours and form into 1 large ball or 2 small ones.
    Cover with coconut.
    Serve with gingersnaps.
    Makes 20 servings.
