Homemade Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 qt. water
    1 medium onion
    1 can mixed vegetables
    3 medium size sliced potatoes
    5 medium chopped carrots
    1 can tomato soup
    some shredded cabbage or lettuce
    1 lb. beef stew meat
    2 to 3 beef bouillon cubes
Preparation
    Cook stew meat in bouillon water until tender.
    Add cut up onion together with pepper and salt.
    Cook for about 15 minutes over medium heat.
    Add tomato soup and cook about 10 minutes.
    Add carrots, cabbage or lettuce, mixed vegetables and potatoes.
    Cook until tender.
    Takes about 4 hours to soften until tender.
