Australian Jack - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. old-fashioned Quaker oats (2 c.)
1 stick butter or margarine
6 oz. brown sugar (3/4 c. )
1/8 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Warm fat sufficiently to rub into oats.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Press into flat pan.
Bake at 400\u00b0 until golden, about 30 minutes.
