Easy Clam Puff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1 1/2 c. scalded milk
    1 (10 oz.) can minced clams with broth
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 Tbsp. minced onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    ground pepper
    18 saltines, crushed
    1 can cream of mushroom or Cheddar cheese soup
    1/2 c. milk or water
Preparation
    Stir margarine into warm milk to melt.
    Stir in clams, eggs, onion, salt and pepper to blend.
    Stir in crackers until thoroughly blended.
    Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole. Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven until puffed and golden, about 40 to 45 minutes.
    Serve with sauce made of soup blended with 1/2 cup milk or water.
    Serves 4.
