1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. milk
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Combine eggs and milk.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Add dry ingredients and liquid alternately to creamed mixture.
Put in greased 9 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
