Ingredients

1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. vinegar
4 Tbsp. red beet juice
1 Tbsp. butter
1 (No. 2) can red beets, drained
Preparation

Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch in medium saucepan.
Add vinegar and beet juice.
Cook, stirring constantly, over low heat until thick and clear.
Add 1 tablespoon butter and drained beets.
