Chicken Or Veal Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chicken
    2 qt. water
    3 medium carrots, sliced
    1 can peas, drained
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 small onion, minced
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Cut veal in inch cubes; place in water.
    Add salt.
    Cook 1 hour.
    Add sliced carrots. Cook until carrots well done.
    Add peas, cook slowly 15 minutes.
    Melt butter; blend in flour and brown slightly.
    Add onion and water; bring to boil.
    Add sauce to soup; bring to boil.
    Remove from heat and serve.
    Serves 6.
