Vanilla Butternut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    3 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. soda
    3 eggs, separated and whites beaten until stiff
    3 tsp. vanilla butternut flavoring
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Heat oven to
    325\u00b0.
    Slightly
    grease and flour 3 pans. Have ingredients
    at
    room
    temperature.
    Cream\tmargarine and sugar thoroughly, then
    mix
    soda and salt in buttermilk until foamy, adding
    alternately
    with
    flour
    and mixing well after each addition.
    Add
    vanilla-butternut flavoring and egg yolks one at a time,
    mixing
    after each.\tGently fold in beaten egg whites. Bake
    30 to 40 minutes.
