Radio Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. canned milk
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chopped dates
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Put sugars, butter and canned milk together.
    Boil to soft ball stage.
    Add nuts, dates and coconut to sauce; boil 5 more minutes. Beat a little with spoon until shiny.
    Put into greased cookie pan. Let set up and cool, then cut into squares.
