Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
2 c. cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
5 1/3 oz. can evaporated milk
2 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shells
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs, beaten
Preparation

Melt marshmallows and butter over low heat until smooth. Combine sweet potatoes and marshmallow mixture, mixing until blended.
Blend in combined granulated sugar and spices; add brown sugar, mixing until smooth.
Blend in eggs and milk.
Pour into crusts.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Reduce oven temperature to 350\u00b0; continue baking 50 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted into center comes out clean.
Cool.
Garnish with whipped topping and chopped pecans, if desired.
