Mom'S Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. salad oil
2 c. sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. chopped pecans
3 c. chopped raw apples, unpeeled
Preparation

Prepare raw apples and set aside.
Measure oil in large bowl, adding sugar and eggs.
Beat until creamy on low speed of mixer. Sift and measure flour.
Sift again with salt, soda and baking powder.
Add a small amount of flour at a time to the creamed mixture.
Beat well after each addition.
When all is added, fold in pecans and raw apples.
Spread evenly in 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes.
Frost with cream cheese frosting.
