Ingredients

1 (24 oz.) pkg. raw shelled peanuts
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
salt
Preparation

Combine first 3 ingredients; stir over medium heat until all liquid evaporates.
Pour onto cookie sheet and bake at 300\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven; stir and sprinkle with salt.
Return to oven for 15 minutes.
Stir again, then bake 10 minutes longer.
Let cool.
Store in airtight container.
Makes about 6 cups.
