"Dom Econ" Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 sq. chocolate
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. boiling water
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1 c. pastry flour
1/4 c. sour milk
3/4 tsp. soda

Preparation

Pour water over chocolate and butter; stir until melted.
Add sugar, flour and soda which has been sifted.
Add milk.
Mix well.
Break whole egg in and beat well.
Bake at 350\u00b0 in 2 layers and ice with any white frosting (boiled frosting is best).
