Guacamole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    juice of 1/2 lime
    2 Tbsp. picante sauce (mild to medium)
    3 large avocados
    pinch of salt
    2 Tbsp. sour cream
    3 Tbsp. shredded mild Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Mix the onion, garlic, lime juice and picante sauce together in a large mixing bowl.
    Cut avocados in half lengthwise.
    Twist the halves to separate.
    Scoop out the halves with a spoon and mash with a fork.
    Add in remaining ingredients.
    Top with the cheese.
    Serve with warm tortilla chips.
    Serves 8 as a dip.
