Sherlene Green'S Cracker Jacks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 stick butter
    1 c. popcorn (unpopped)
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. peanuts (optional)
Preparation
    Pop the popcorn and set aside.
    Mix sugar, syrup and butter in saucepan and cook for 5 minutes.
    Add soda and stir well.
    Pour over popped corn; stir well and spread on cookie sheet.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes at 250\u00b0.
