Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1 c. tomato juice
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 lb. pork sausage
    3/4 c. uncooked oatmeal
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 egg or 2 egg whites, slightly beaten
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine all ingredients; mix lightly but thoroughly.
    Shape into loaf and bake for 1 hour or until meat is no longer pink and juices run clear.
    Drain; let stand 5 minutes before serving.
    Makes 8 servings.
