Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pork sausage or ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    2 tsp. dried basil, crushed
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    8 oz. lasagna noodles
    2 beaten eggs
    2 1/2 c. Ricotta or cream-style cottage cheese
    3/4 c. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
    2 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    In a skillet, brown meat and onion.
    Drain.
    Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, paste, basil and 1 teaspoon salt.
    Cover; simmer 15 minutes, stirring often.
    Add cooking oil to large amount of boiling salted water; cook noodles 10 to 12 minutes.
    Drain and rinse noodles.
    Combine eggs, Ricotta or cottage cheese, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, parsley, 1 teaspoon salt and pepper.
    Layer half noodles in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish; spread half Ricotta mixture, half the Mozzarella cheese and half the meat sauce. Repeat layers.
    Sprinkle remaining Parmesan on top.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Makes 10 servings.
