Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

4 Tbsp. butter or oleo
1 c. brown sugar
10 pineapple slices
maraschino cherries
2 c. sifted flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. white sugar
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. minus 2 Tbsp. pineapple juice
Preparation

Melt butter in cake pan.
Mix in brown sugar.
Arrange pineapple slices in pan.
Place cherries in centers of pineapple rings.
