Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter melted
    2 c corn flakes-crushed
    4 c cabbage shredded
    1 onion chopped
    1 c water chestnuts sliced Or almond slices (optional)
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 c milk
    1/2 c mayonnaise
    Grated cheese
Preparation
    Combine corn flakes and butter (margarine may be used). Put into 9 x 12 inch casserole pan-reserve some crumbs for topping. Mix cabbage, onion, chestnuts and add on top of crumbs. Mix lst ingredients and pour over the cabbage mixture.
    Grate cheese and put on top.
    Add reserved corn flakes.
    Bake i n 350 oven for 45 minutes.
