Beer Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. catsup
    3 minced garlic cloves
    2 medium onions, sliced or chopped
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 (12 oz.) can beer
    2 Tbsp. plus 1 1/2 tsp. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. hot peppers (dry flakes)
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Saute onions and garlic in margarine until slightly brown. Add remaining ingredients, except beer.
    Stir well until blended and then add beer in small amounts, carefully as it will bubble over.
    Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
