Polish Chrusciki - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    4 Tbsp. Crisco
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    3 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix 4 cups flour, 4 tablespoons Crisco, 1 teaspoon salt and 2 teaspoons baking powder with 1 cup sugar.
    Beat 3 eggs and vanilla. Add to the mixture.
    Take the dough and knead on the flour board until firm and smooth enough to roll.
    Cut into 4-inch strips; slit in the center and pull one end through.
    Fry in deep grease until brown.
    Dust with powdered sugar.
