Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. Crisco
    5 large eggs
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3 c. flour
    2 c. Angel Flake coconut
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. coconut flavoring
    1/3 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. milk
    2 c. sifted flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Stir butter until creamy; add sugar gradually.
    Add well beaten eggs and flavoring.
    Beat well.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and add alternately with milk to the first mixture.
    Pour batter into 8 x 8-inch pan and sprinkle with sugar before baking.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
