Mother'S Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (5 lb.) hen or fryer
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    4 Tbsp. milk
    4 Tbsp. Crisco, melted
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    flour
    1 c. celery, diced
    1 c. onion, diced
    6 parsley sprigs
Preparation
    Boil hen or fryer until tender.
    Remove from broth and cool. Debone and set aside.
    Save the broth!
