Hush Puppies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. self-rising cornmeal
6 Tbsp. sugar
3 whole eggs
1/4 to 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
3/4 c. grated onions
Preparation

Mix all ingredients. Cover and let stand in refrigerator 1 hour or longer.
Heat oil, 1 to 1 1/2
cups, in pan according to size of pan.
Using ice tea spoon, dip in hot oil and spoon out batter.
Drop into heated oil until brown. They will float and turn over when done.
(Heating spoon each time prevents batter from sticking to spoon.
