Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. soft butter
    1 egg, beaten
    1 3/4 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    flour for good consistency
Preparation
    Cream
    butter, sugar, egg, milk and vanilla.
    Sift flour and add
    to
    creamed mixture.
    Chill, roll out; cut and bake on greased baking sheet in 375\u00b0 oven for about 8 minutes.
