Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Cream butter with extract.
    Gradually add sugar and cream. Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. Beat in chopped pecans, corn syrup and salt.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Reduce oven to 350\u00b0 and arrange pecans over top of filling.
    Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until set.
    Cool.
