Katie'S Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large cans pineapple, drained
    2 large cans Mandarin oranges, drained
    1 jar maraschino cherries, drain cherries and wash
    1 large box vanilla pudding
Preparation
    Measure juice from pineapple and oranges.
    Need 2 1/2 cups. Add to vanilla pudding.
    Cook until thick. Cool completely.
    Add fruit and cut up 2 bananas.
    Make a day ahead.
    I have also used canned peaches and the peach juice instead of mandarin orange juice.
