Kids Clay (Not Edible)(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. unsifted flour
    1 c. salt
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    food coloring, if desired
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and cream of tartar in 2-quart bowl. Gradually stir in water and oil until just about smooth. Microwave (High) uncovered 4 1/2 to 5 minutes or until mixture is very thick, stirring every minute (mixture will be very lumpy). Cool enough to handle.
    Turn onto countertop and knead until smooth, about 2 minutes.
    Divide dough into 4 sections and knead in food coloring.
    Store each color separately in airtight container in refrigerator.
    Makes 4 balls.
    Zipper top bags make handy storage containers.
