Dundee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1/2 lb. sugar
    6 eggs
    1/2 lb. flour
    1/4 lb. currants
    1/4 lb. raisins
    1/4 lb. sultanas
    2 oz. candied citrus peel
    3 oz. almonds
    orange rind
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar together in a bowl.
    Beat in 1 egg at a time.
    Gradually stir in flour, fruits and orange rind.
    Pour into a tube pan lined with buttered paper (or baking paper).
    Flatten top and decorate with almonds.
    Bake in moderate oven until done in center.
