Spiced Red Cabbage(Very Good Recipe From Germany.) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head red cabbage, diced
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 c. onion, chopped
2 medium tart apples, quartered
6 Tbsp. tarragon or red wine vinegar
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation
-
Place cabbage in a large kettle of boiling salted water; boil for 1 minute. Drain. Return to kettle; stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 1 hour or until cabbage is tender. Remove bay leaf. Yield: 12 servings.
