Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. plain flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. shortening
2/3 c. milk
1/2 c. grated Cheddar
Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder and salt into large mixing bowl. Cut shortening in until mixture looks like grains of rice; stir in cheese. Stir in milk with a fork just to make a soft dough. Place dough on lightly floured surface and knead 6 to 8 times. Roll 1/2-inch thick and cut with floured cutter. Bake at 425\u00b0 about 10 to 12 minutes, until golden on top.
