Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 c. flour
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    6 eggs
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. lemon flavor
Preparation
    Blend butter and sugar until creamy.
    Add 1 egg yolk at a time. Sift flour, salt and soda together.
    Add to first mixture alternately with buttermilk.
    Add flavoring.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Fold into batter.
    Bake in greased and floured 10-inch tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
