Cookie Mix Recipe - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. all-purpose flour (stir to aerate before measuring)
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
2 c. granulated sugar
2 c. packed brown sugar
3 c. solid white shortening
7 c. quick cooking oats
2 c. raisins
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Preparation

Stir together the flour, soda and salt; stir in the sugars. Use wire whip or low speed on mixer.
Cut in the shortening with pastry blender until blended.
Thoroughly stir in the oats.
Makes about 20 cups.
Divide in 4.
Put into plastic bags and add to each bag 1/2 cup raisins and 1/2 cup chocolate pieces.
May be stored at room temperature for several weeks or refrigerated.
