Sparkling Pineapple Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    2 cinnamon sticks
    1/4 c. lime juice
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice, chilled
    1 (32 oz.) bottle sparkling water, chilled
    1 (32 oz.) bottle ginger ale, chilled
Preparation
    Heat sugar, water and cinnamon to boiling.
    Reduce heat. Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
    Remove from heat; cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours or until chilled.
    Remove cinnamon from syrup.
    Just before serving, mix syrup with the remaining ingredients in a punch bowl.
    Makes 26 servings (about 1/2 cup each).
