Sinfully Rich Nonfat Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder or European-style cocoa
    1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. evaporated skim milk
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    assorted fresh fruit
    unfrosted cake or frozen nonfat yogurt (optional)
Preparation
    In a small saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa and cornstarch; stir in evaporated milk.
    Cook over low heat for 3 minutes or until mixture boils, stirring constantly with whisk.
    Continue cooking 1 to 2 minutes longer or until sauce is thickened and smooth, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
    Serve warm or cold with fresh fruit, cake or nonfat frozen yogurt. Cover and refrigerate leftover sauce.
    Yield:
    Approximately 7 servings.
