Smothered Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 egg
    1 c. bread crumbs or crackers
    1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
    1 onion
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Beat egg; add bread crumbs or crackers.
    Stir in soup mix; add beef.
    Wet hands and shape meat into balls.
    Brown on all sides in Dutch oven.
    Add sliced onion, cream of mushroom soup and about 2 inches of water.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 50 minutes.
    Serve over noodles.
