Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage, chopped into bite-size pieces
    1 pound bulk pork sausage or corned beef, or a combination of both
    1 quart white potatoes, diced
    1 small onion, chopped (optional)
    Salt and pepper to taste
    1/4 C. water
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except water.
    Put into a baking dish.
    Pour water over top, cover, and bake at 375 degrees until soft, approximately 1 1/2 hours.
