German Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. nuts
    1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1 (8 oz.) Hershey chocolate bar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar, salt, evaporated milk and butter in heavy 4-quart cooker. Cook on medium heat until mixture comes to a heavy boil. Start timing and cook 6 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients, nuts last.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch buttered pan. Cool completely.
    Makes 5 pounds.
