California Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sugar
    2 (1 lb.) pkg. chopped dates
    3 c. chopped walnuts
    1/4 lb. candied cherries
    1/4 lb. candied pineapple
    4 egg yolks, well beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 egg whites, beaten until moist peaks form
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix all ingredients in order given. Grease a Bundt pan or equivalent (9 x 9-inch, etc.)
    Bake approximately 45 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
