Yuletide Toffee Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 1/2 c. oatmeal, uncooked
3/4 c. margarine or butter, melted
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) chocolate morsels
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
2/3 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation

Grease a 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan.
Combine oats, brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup, vanilla and salt. Mix well.
