Chinese Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak, thinly sliced
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 small onions, wedged
    2 green peppers, cut into thin 1 1/2-inch strips
    1 c. beef stock
    2 Tbsp. peanut oil
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix cornstarch, beef broth and soy sauce; set aside.
    Heat oil in wok or skillet until hot.
    Add meat and garlic.
    Stir-fry until meat is no longer pink.
    Add onion and peppers; stir-fry 1 to 2 minutes.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Stir in cornstarch mixture. Stir-fry until sauce thickens slightly.
