Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. jam
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2/3 tsp. nutmeg
    2/3 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk and vanilla.
    Add jam and beat well.
    Bake in a greased and floured pan at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
