Scalloped Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head cabbage
    butter
    cracker crumbs
    1 c. white sauce
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cut cabbage into small pieces.
    Put in buttered baking dish, sprinkle with salt and pepper and add the white sauce.
    Lift cabbage with fork, that it may be well mixed with sauce.
    Cover with buttered crumbs.
    Bake until crumbs are brown.
