Betty Crocker Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 sq. unsweetened chocolate (4 oz.)
    2/3 c. Wesson oil
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. Gold Medal flour
    1 tsp. double-acting baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. nuts (pecans or black walnuts)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt chocolate over hot water.
    Stir in Wesson oil and beat in sugar and eggs.
    Sift together flour; mix in baking powder and salt.
    Mix in nuts.
    Spread in a well-greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch oblong pan.
    Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Slight imprint will be left when top is touched lightly for testing. Cool; cut into 32 squares or smaller, if desired.
